Archaeological excavations conducted in the Theban necropolis over the past two centuries have led to the discovery of hundreds of tombs and burials dating from the Old Kingdom to the Coptic era. Many of these sepulchers remain unpublished, leaving our understanding of the mortuary landscape of Western Thebes incomplete. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to shed some light on one of these unpublished monuments: the Eighteenth Dynasty tomb of Sa-Mut (TT 247), located at el-Khokha.
