Abstrakt
Excavations carried out between 2012 and 2013 at Wakarida in northeastern Tigray uncovered a huge quantity of pottery distributed across the different levels identified at the site. The different pottery assemblages collected from the site are presented in this contribution, proposing a periodization of the occupation of Wakarida city into two main units: Period I (subdivided into successive phases IA and IB) and Period II. Pottery comparisons and 14C dating provide the grounds for dating the two assemblages.
