Abstract

This paper presents the results of astronomical calculations aimed at determining the dates when sunlight enters through skylights — openings present in the walls of the sanctuary of Amun in the Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari. It is also includes a report on the geodetic and astrometric measurements conducted in January and February 2015 at the temple site and in the Asasif Valley, which provided the basis for the calculations.
